| Residency: | Dr. J.D. Gilliland is a board certified radiologist specializing in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned his MD. He completed his internship in internal medicine, his residency and his fellowship in neuro and interventional radiology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Gilliland served as chief of interventional radiology in the residency training program at David Grant USAF Medical Center in northern California for four years. He In addition to enjoying a broad radiology practice, he has been involved in the development of breast imaging programs in Denver, Craig, Steamboat Springs and more recently for a national teleradiology company. He is a member of the Denver Medical Society, Colorado Radiological Society, the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Gilliland and his wife have grown children in the Denver area and enjoy fly-fishing, skiing, cycling and tennis.

Biography
Dr. J.D. Gilliland is a board certified radiologist specializing in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned his MD. He completed his internship in internal medicine, his residency and his fellowship in neuro and interventional radiology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Gilliland served as chief of interventional radiology in the residency training program at David Grant USAF Medical Center in northern California for four years. He
then went into private practice in 1990 on the Colorado Front Range, where he did a combination of interventional, cross-sectional body imaging and breast imaging/procedures.
In addition to enjoying a broad radiology practice, he has been involved in the development of breast imaging programs in Denver, Craig, Steamboat Springs and more recently for a national teleradiology company. He is a member of the Denver Medical Society, Colorado Radiological Society, the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Gilliland and his wife have grown children in the Denver area and enjoy fly-fishing, skiing, cycling and tennis.
