Our online cost estimator tool will allow you to estimate the hospital charges for services and procedures. If you have insurance, you will be able to enter it and see charges based on your insurance coverage. To get started click the button below.
- Step 1: Enter your insurance if you have it, or select "Self Pay" if you don't.
- Step 2: Select the category that your procedure falls into.
- Step 3: Select the procedure(s) that you would like to view costs for.
- To view what procedures you have selected, click the red/blue "Selected Procedures" button in the right column.
- To start over click the "Back" button on either step 2 or step 3.

Important notes:
- The online cost estimator tool is only able to provide hospital charges and does not account for professional fees for providers, anesthesiologists and other members of your care team that may support you during your stay with us. Therefore the estimate you receive will only represent a portion of your final cost. For example, an estimate for a colonoscopy will include costs for the procedure itself but will not account for the professional fees from the physician provider performing the colonoscopy nor the anesthesiologists that administers the medication.
- Any change to your procedure will change the estimate cost.
- These estimates are averages based on historical data from our patient database. Every patient's case is unique. Your actual costs will be based on your specific needs and experience with us.

- Vail Health Hospital Emergency Department -The range of pricing in an emergency department can vary significantly depending on factors which must be determined by qualified medical professionals during the patient evaluation at the time of care. For that reason, we cannot provide an estimate for emergency room care.
